WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
EXPLORE A HOLISTIC APPROACH
Based around a practical curriculum that approaches yoga systematically, we believe in creating strong foundations for teaching safely and authentically. Drawing from traditional yogic practices, we will be exploring yoga as a holistic approach - combining traditional teachings with modern science.
It is important to note that our approach is traditional, but appropriated to modern times. We don't follow any specific 'style' or single lineage of Yoga. Instead coming from a holistic and applied approach, working with different elements from various teachings. We will cover mainly Hatha & Vinyasa approaches. We delve deep into ancient texts and practices, interpreting and relating them to everyday life.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESED
Prior to the training there are two assignments to complete and return to us before the training begins. This is to help you become familiar with some of the course content and hit the ground running once the training begins.
We ask students to keep a written record of their yoga practice before coming to the training (15 hours) - we provide questions to help guide you with this.
During the training there will be a number of small assignments and tasks designated to each subject. You will sequence mini classes, gaining feedback and confidence along the way.
During the final week of the course we ask each student to teach a 60 minute class entirely on their own, as well as completing a written theory exam.

Rose’s yoga journey began in 2007, at just 17 years old, when she first discovered the practice that would transform her life. Drawn to yoga’s holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, she quickly developed a profound passion for it. Yoga became not just a practice, but a way of life. Fueled by a deep desire to share this transformative power with others, Rose embarked on the path to becoming a teacher. Her dedication, curiosity, and commitment to personal growth have guided her through over 17 years of teaching and continuous learning.
Rose serves as a lead trainer for Wild Self Yoga’s teacher training programs. Her role as a mentor and guide allows her to inspire others to deepen their practice, cultivate self-awareness, and step confidently into their own teaching journeys.
She spent two yeas studying at Ashram Yoga. There, she fully immersed herself in yoga philosophy, daily sadhana, and community life, teaching and learning in an environment that fostered both inner growth and a profound connection to the roots of yoga.
Her journey didn’t stop there. Rose has continued to expand her expertise through extensive training in India, the birthplace of yoga, and across the globe. She has studied a diverse range of disciplines, including Yoga Therapy, which explores yoga’s healing potential; Yin Yoga, and most recently, Mental Health Aware Yoga, blending traditional wisdom with modern insights into mental well-being.
